Meet the mind behind btechnotes.in – Manish Kumar, a passionate student, creator, and a true problem solver.
Manish was born on 3rd September 2005, in a small village called Norangpura, near Pilani, Rajasthan. From humble beginnings, he started his early schooling in Sant Public School, Mandrella. Later, he moved to Delhi in 5th standard and continued his studies in schools like Gautam Model Public School and Rahul Model Public School. While he describes himself as an average student, his journey proves he’s anything but ordinary.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Manish returned to his village and completed his 10th grade from Indian Children Academy, scoring 74% in the RBSE Board. He then came back to Delhi and took PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math)in 11th and 12th at Govt. Co-Ed Senior Secondary School No. 3, Palam Enclave, and secured 78%, also learning Python, SQL, and basics of DBMS.
In school, Manish didn’t just study—he participated in various extracurricular activities, especially anchoring, which he loved. He even tried his luck in acting during class 11, but didn’t get a role due to no prior experience. But that never stopped him from trying again later.
Manish prepared day and night for IIT-JEE, putting in 9–10 hours of daily effort. He also gave other competitive exams like VITEEE, KVPY, NEST, and more. With an 83 percentile in JEE, he got into Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology (BPIT), Rohini, under IP University, in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Just after joining college, Manish launched his YouTube channel – @manishs_way, to help students with college counseling, career guidance, and best college suggestions. The love and support he received inspired him to do more.
During his 1st-year summer vacations, Manish saw his friends struggling to find proper notes and PYQs. That’s when he came up with the idea of btechnotes.in – a dedicated platform to provide semester-wise notes, previous year questions, short notes, and more. With zero prior experience in web development, just him and his laptop, he built the entire website using WordPress, plugins, and a little help from ChatGPT.
Within just 2 months, the website gained huge popularity among students and teachers alike. It now serves over 1000+ active community members, offers assignment and file-making services, and has become a trusted study resource for engineering students.
To spread the word, Manish also started sponsoring events for promotion and connecting with a wider audience. His dedication didn’t stop at academics. He made a comeback in acting, with his first feature film project “Queen Bee”, and another titled “Toxic” on the way. In college too, he is active as an anchor and student coordinator.
Today, Manish is not just running a successful website but is also exploring the world of Cloud Computing, DevOps, and other tech fields to shape his future.
From a small village to building a strong student community, Manish Kumar’s journey is an inspiration for all dreamers who want to create, help, and lead.
